Family concept is the distinguishing feature of Hinduism which you would not find any other religion in the world.
Starting from Gods Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva , there is a long chain of the family members and the relatives attached to them in turn.
This system has Father, Mother, Son, and Daughter patterns as we see in our family.
The relationships like Uncle, Aunty and in-laws also exist followed by the circles of friends and foes.
To illustrate this, God Shiva has Parvathy as wife, and two children namely Ganesha and Murugan. Again, God Vishnu is the brother of Parvathy and hence, he is the maternal uncle for Ganesha and Murugan.
